i had indoubtable anticipation of skinning a cat thoughtless earlier, but the only speech i could endure saw it leaping several feet in the air. i questioned the closest person to me. ‘pops, why is this creature set sail into the sky so high?’ i had tried to watch it but the sun blurred my vision. my father grunted, for it is a sheep my kid, now go cut the hedges.’

at the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest & bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. the carnafix it is said doesn’t quite rise but more crawls its way out of its squalid surrounds, lights the longest reefer end in the ashtray & takes a gobful of lager from a stale 40, left over from the evening before….

sound junkee has been making crazy electronic music for about 5 years now with the use of programs such as cubase sx, rebirth & fruity loops etc. combined with live percussion, acoustic guitars, spitting, female vox, flutes and any other instruments he can get his hands on!!!

the techno i produce has some mixed vibes of world wide percurssion (djambes, drums etc) transmitted thru groove boxes, and the pop of the synthetic melodies that kreate sounds out of this world this looks like a sweet travel…

core members are neil wright & ed george, formed in 2006, the hypersonic resonator’s debut cd ‘ prototype ’ was released independently by terminalstation .netlabel in association with leg iron records. summer festival appearances are planned – dates are posted on myspace. another ep is planned for early 2008: the hyper sonic resonator has recently composed the soundtrack for the short anti-war film ‘ the art of ju jitsu ’. a cd album is planned early in 2008.
