It is a whispery song but each sound seems a bit too timid. We don't need muscle or bravado but confidence. I'd also love to hear this mix with a bit more reverb/delay. Those two effect create a nice lush bed to envelop the listener.
The lead voxes are a bit dry for my taste and could probably use a bit more compression However, they sit on top of the music and are clear. nice job.
Was that a conscious choice to keep the bass noodling at the beginning? Hrm? lots of other students did as well .... interesting.
the chorus grs, the strumming and the picking - pan them away from each other to help create space and width.
